Bridge is one way to replace one or multiple missing teeth, using adjacent teeth as abutments. A dental bridge needs to be fabricated in a dental lab by a lab technician. It normally takes two appointments. The first appointment involves preparing the teeth (reducing the surfaces of the teeth to make room for the prostheses) and taking the impression. The impression then is sent to lab for fabrication. In the second appointment, the bridge is tried in and cemented. Patient needs to wear a temporary crown for two weeks during the lab procedures.
